Welcome

Rain clouds drape the Manzano Mountains in moisture. View is to the south from the Sandia Crest. Gray, blocky rocks are the Madera Limestone. Jagged, tree-covered spires are the Sandia Granite. You can see the eastern edge of Albuquerque at center right.

It all begins with an idea.

I have always wanted to write a book. From the idea of writing a book to the reality of publishing one, it’s a long journey.

I’m pretty excited to have been able to write two! These books are about my favorite subject (geology!) and some of my favorite places: Colorado and New Mexico. My education has been all about the landscapes of these two great states.

I’m excited to share these (and hopefully more!) with you! A whole-hearted welcome to you, and thank you for being here!
